Read The Room Presents... Boozer Edition
October 26, 2021 SOLD OUT
Welcome to the fourth edition of our literary salon, "Read The Room" featuring a series of readings by some of New York's leading writers. Our guest readers represent a broad cross-section of the literary world, featuring authors of published works from magazine articles to essays to books and beyond.
We are thrilled to invite you to an evening of (brief) readings by these renowned writers sharing their stories about the world of booze.
- Michael Anstendig, author of The Japanese Art of the Cocktail
- David Blend, Thrillist
- Erica Duecy, Bottle Service
- Aaron Goldfarb, The New York Times
- Chantal Martineau, author of How the Gringos Stole Tequila
- Kathleen Squires, The Wall Street Journal
Not only are we serving up a meaty buffet of contemporary literature, but as food-lovers, we are also sharing wine (including Mirabeau Rose' and the bottled cocktails Slow & Low Rock & Rye and Coffee Old Fashioned from Cooper Spirits) and bites from local purveyors to keep the juices flowing.
However, we are also fond of our "Dry" friends who prefer a non-alcoholic alternative. For them, we are featuring a variety of Curious Elixirs which pair well with sweet and citric juices. Experimentation is also part of the evening's fun. So, come on down to Little Italy and get your culture on!
