Chef's Dinner Table invites you to celebrate our new partnership with Sea Cloud Cruises, one of the world's most illustrious names in cruising, as we announce the San Juan Guest Chef Series onboard the Sea Cloud Spirit for the January 2025 Puerto Rico sailings. Curated by award-winning food writer Kathleen Squires and Ronnie Rodriguez, proprietors of Chef’s Dinner Table in New York City, each of the four new itineraries will be hosted by an acclaimed chef handpicked to showcase the island’s culinary culture. At the helm of the kitchen for this special occasion will be our Culinary Director, Julie Carrión, who will be the guest chef on the second of four sailings.  Her Caribbean-inspired menu will reflect the level of cuisine you can expect on the Sea Cloud Spirit yacht.  Canapés  and four courses will be professionally paired with an exquisite wine program designed by our sommelier.

The venue is a special place, too.  Chef's Dinner Table, a private culinary salon tucked away in a downtown NYC loft, offers the ultimate  experience in luxury private dining. More than a fancy restaurant, this venue is to dining what private yachts are to sailing!  You will be surrounded by like-minded individuals who also like to eat, drink and be merry without being too fussy about it.  Or, as we like to say: "There are no strangers here, only friends we have yet to meet".  Attendees of this dinner, and other interested parties, will receive a $250 onboard credit on a Sea Cloud Spirit booking with promo code CDTJulie25.  For cruise booking details, email Info@chefsdinnertablenyc.com

ABOUT THE CHEF

Chef Julie Carrión will be the guest chef on the San Juan, Puerto Rico roundtrip sailing January 10-17 and will lead interactive pasteles-making classes while onboard. The voyage ports include Virgin Gorda/British Virgin Islands, Norman Island/British Virgin Islands, St. John’s/Antigua and Gustavia/St. Barthelemy.  A native of San Juan, Julie spent the early years of her culinary career in New York training under Top Chef Master Anita Lo, and then Montreal-based chef Normand Laprise of Toque, before accepting a position at Restaurant Daniel, the year that Daniel Boulud won back his coveted fourth star from The New York Times. After nearly a decade with Yale University as Executive Chef, catering to the university’s President and elite guests, Julie is now the Culinary Director of Chef’s Dinner Table, a private dining venue and culinary salon in New York City.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

  • Yes. Please email Info@ChefsDinnerTableNYC.com with your dietary needs with at least 3 days notice. With less notice, we will undertake our best effort (but cannot guarantee) to accommodate your dietary restrictions.

Is there a dress code?

  • Nobody will be barred at the door for their garb (unless they come in tank-tops and sandals!). The tone of the evening will be somewhere between smart-casual and elegant. Men are encouraged (not required) to wear a dinner jacket. Ladies will no doubt take the opportunity to impress each other. You are free to make your own choices in the context of the above.

Are there any ID requirements or an age limits to enter the event?

  • Guests must be at least 21 Years of age with valid ID.

What is the refund policy? Is my registration/ticket transferable?

  • While tickets are not refundable, they are transferable to anyone of legal drinking age. If you are unable to use your ticket, we will undertake to re-sell your ticket on a best-efforts basis subject to a 20% service fee.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

  • No. (just have some ID handy)
